Extra appointments are now available at more than a dozen convenient locations in the East Riding. The Improving Access service offers   pre-bookable, routine care appointments with GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants, physiotherapists, pharmacists and mental health workers.

When is the service open?

The service is open at one of our locations every day. Evening appointments are available between 6.30 and 8pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend appointments are available on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

The Improving Access Service is not a walk-in service – you need to make an appointment by telephoning or calling in to your usual practice. You may be offered an appointment at a practice that is not your usual practice and you may be seen by someone other than your usual GP.

To book or cancel an Improving Access appointment at weekends when we are closed, please telephone 01482 458262.
